Mysuru: e-KYC mandatory for ration card holders who completed five years
The Mysuru district administration has mandated that ration card holders who completed their e-KYC five years ago must undergo the process again. Beneficiaries are required to visit their local fair price shops with specific identification documents to complete the free biometric authentication.

Ration card holders who completed five years since completing e-KYC are required to undergo e-KYC again, along with all members of their families.
The district administration has said that as many as 13,86,556 ration card members in Mysuru district have been identified as having completed five years since their e-KYC. Lists of members required to complete the process have already been displayed at the respective fair price shops, a press release said.
Beneficiaries whose names figure on the lists have been asked to visit their fair price shop and provide Aadhaar biometric authentication. The service is free of cost.
