Mystery team in Marvin Harrison trade steps forward, as Texans DeMeco Ryans confirms reunion with CJ Stroud

The Houston Texans have traded for Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Marvin Harrison, reuniting him with his former college quarterback C.J. Stroud. The move comes as the Texans look to bolster their offense following a difficult start to the NFL season.
Why it matters
High-profile NFL trades significantly impact team performance and fan expectations, particularly when involving top-tier draft talent.
The Houston Texans beat the Tennessee Titans on Sunday for their first victory of the season, but that's not the reason coach DeMeco Ryans left his postgame news conference with a big laugh and smile. He was asked if the Texans are indeed one of the teams interested in trading for Arizona Cardinals receiver Marvin Harrison. And since he was already in a good mood, Ryans made it official. "You guys want to know, huh," Ryans said between chuckles. "Yes, alright, we traded for Marvin Harrison. "See ya." An NFL source told OutKick the Texans are sending a second and sixth-round pick to the Arizona Cardinals in exchange for Harrison and a seventh-round pick. The Texans were one of multiple teams that talked to the Cardinals about the former first-round wide receiver as a trade target in recent days, as OutKick reported on Saturday.
