Musk vows ‘affordable’ Starlink in India as he escalates feud with Ambani

Elon Musk has pledged to offer affordable Starlink satellite internet in India to compete with Mukesh Ambani's Reliance Jio. This move comes as Jio prepares for a massive IPO and follows Musk's public criticism of the Indian government's regulatory delays.
Why it matters
The entry of Starlink into the Indian market could disrupt the dominance of local telecom giants and significantly alter the competitive landscape of one of the world's largest internet markets.
Elon Musk’s latest comments come days before Mukesh Ambani’s low-cost Reliance Jio’s parent launches India’s largest-ever initial public offering.
