Musical tribute to cancer survivors at Rapadi auditorium

Thankam Hospital here will organise a musical programme offering a tribute to cancer survivors at Rapadi open air auditorium here on Saturday evening. Percussionist Mattannur Sankarankutty and keyboard exponent Prakash Ulliyeri will lead the musical event. Mr. Ulliyeri said that several other artistes would also join them at the event. Those who survived various types of cancers will be felicitated at the function named ‘Karuthinte Kathakal: a musical evening’.

Hospital officials said that the world was celebrating breast cancer awareness month in October, and the musical evening would also mark a part of that celebration.
