The confirmation was announced by the Central Organising Committee during a preparatory meeting at Karuziika Palace in Fort Portal City. The meeting, chaired by Fr Isiah Mayombo, was attended by organising committee members and senior government officials, including Tourism Minister Tom Butiime—who serves as the liaison between the central government and Tooro Kingdom—and the Minister of State for Gender and Culture, Ms Peace Mutuuzo.
