Museveni bids farewell to Indian envoy as Uganda moves to overhaul payment ecosystem

President Museveni has lauded outgoing Indian High Commissioner to Uganda, Mr Upender Singh Rawat, for his role in deepening bilateral relations, particularly highlighting ongoing strategic partnerships in technology transfer, forensic science, and the development of a National Payment Switch. President Museveni confirmed hosting the diplomat at State House Entebbe on Monday afternoon as Mr Rawat concluded his tour of duty.
