“Lmao, zuck took the “muse” handle on Instagram for his new AI thing, and now the world-famous band with nearly 3m followers that’s been around for 25 years has been given museband,” one fan wrote on X.
Another reacted, “Can’t believe an ai slop app stole the handle from a real human band.”
Some fans even wondered whether Muse had been paid for the handle. However, there was no confirmation that a financial deal had occurred. The Independent said it contacted representatives for both Muse and Meta for comment.
