Murder probe after injured man found in Leicester street
Leicestershire Police have launched a murder investigation after a man in his late 20s was found dead with serious injuries on a street in Braunstone. Authorities are currently appealing for witnesses and CCTV footage to help determine the circumstances of the death.

A murder investigation has been launched after ambulance crews pronounced a man dead in a Leicester street.
A man in his late 20s was found seriously injured on Compton Road, Braunstone, by emergency services in the early hours of Sunday.
Leicestershire Police set up a cordon at about 07:00 BST.
The force said Operation Wool was investigating how the man came to be in the street and the full circumstances around his death.
It added his next-of-kin had been informed and were being supported by trained officers.
Det Insp Kevin Hames, from the East Midlands Special Operations Unit, said the investigation was in its early stages, with officers speaking to witnesses and analysing CCTV from the area.
