To boost monsoon tourism in the region, the fourth edition of the “Rain 40” football penalty shootout tournament will be held at the Munnar High Altitude Stadium on August 9. The event, scheduled to kick off at 10 a.m., will be organised by Greens Munnar. According to Saju Alakkappally, chairman of the organising committee, 32 teams will participate in the event — 16 from Idukki district and the rest from other districts.
