MSME products from Puducherry to be identified under PONFAIT brand name

The Pondicherry Industrial Promotion Development and Investment Corporation Limited in association with Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII) has launched PONFAIT, a new brand identity for products and enterprises from Puducherry under the Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance (RAMP) Scheme.
The brand name PONFAIT and its logo were released at a function held in Puducherry by the Lieutenant Governor K. Kailashnathan and Chief Minister N. Rangasamy. The launch forms part of the ‘Made in Puducherry,’ initiative, which seeks to recognise, promote and celebrate the valuable contributions of MSMEs across Puducherry, a release here said.
The launch of PONFAIT marks the beginning of a collective branding initiative aimed at bringing the diverse products, services, and enterprises of Puducherry under a recognisable identity. The initiative seeks to strengthen the visibility of local MSMEs, promote their products and create greater market opportunities, the release said.
