MSF ‘Campus Express’ campaign to conclude on Oct. 9

An ongoing student campaign titled ‘Campus Express’ organised by the Muslim Students’ Federation (MSF) district committee completed its tour of Vengara and Kottakkal constituencies on Thursday (October 8, 2026).
As part of the campaign, MSF district committee members wore black and staged a protest demanding the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. They also expressed solidarity with the protests led by Opposition leader Rahul Gandhi in New Delhi.
Muslim Youth League district committee member Shamsudheen Pullatt inaugurated the programme at Dharmagiri College, Vengara.
Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) Vengara constituency president P.K. Assalu inaugurated the programme at PPTM College.
The team also visited Farook College at Kottakkal and interacted with students at KRSN College. IUML Valanchery municipal committee general secretary Mohammedali Nettukkattil inaugurated the programme at MES KVM College.
The protesters demanded that the credibility of democratic institutions and transparency of the electoral process be protected.
