MSD’s Hyderabad tech centre opened

Global biopharmaceutical major MSD on Thursday announced the opening of its new Hyderabad Tech Centre.
Since its launch in 2025, the facility has grown in scale and scope as an important part of MSD’s global technology network, the firm said after inauguration of the facility by IT and Industries Minister D. Sridhar Babu. Previously, the centre was functioning from a shared space, sources said.
The Minister’s office said the new 2.5 lakh sq ft technology centre of MSD in Hyderabad strengthens the city’s position as a global hub for life sciences, technology and innovation.
Mr.Sridhar Babu said Telangana has built a truly end-to-end Life Sciences ecosystem of more than 2,000 companies and evolved from a manufacturing-led base into a hub for advanced research and development, innovation and global technology capabilities.
