The MS Ireland National Conference is scheduled for October 2026 in Galway, focusing on symptom management and community building for those affected by multiple sclerosis. The event aims to provide accessible research information and foster connections among patients and caregivers.
Why it matters
Community-focused events are vital for patient support and the dissemination of practical health information for chronic conditions.
The MS Ireland National Conference is coming to Galway this October, bringing together people living with multiple sclerosis, their families, carers, healthcare professionals and experts for a day focused on living well with MS.
The conference, entitled “Living Well with MS: Managing Symptoms, Building Communities”, will take place on Saturday, 17 October 2026 at the Clayton Hotel Galway from 9am to 4.45pm. The event will feature expert speakers, practical information and opportunities for people affected by MS to meet, share experiences and connect with others.
Mary McCusker, National Services Development Coordinator with MS Ireland, said that while providing high-quality information is an important part of the conference, the opportunity for people to connect is equally important.
