MRT Jakarta's Thamrin-Monas Line to Open by Late 2027
PT MRT Jakarta reports that construction on the Thamrin and Monas stations for Phase 2A is nearly 93 percent complete. The project is on track for commercial operation by late 2027 despite challenges with soft soil conditions.

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - City-owned public transportation operator PT MRT Jakarta announced that construction on contract package CP201 of MRT Jakarta Phase 2A, which covers Thamrin and Monas stations, has reached roughly 92 percent and is closing in on 93 percent. Both stations are targeted for completion and commercial operation by the end of 2027.Construction Director of PT MRT Jakarta Weni Maulina stated that development is progressing on schedule.
