Everton boss David Moyes insists his side still need more players to be more competitive after Thierno Barry 's hat-trick inspired a 4-0 Carabao Cup win over Preston.
Barry struck three times as the Toffees cruised into the next round, but Moyes believes his squad remains short of both numbers and quality with the transfer deadline approaching.
"I still feel that for us to be a side which is competitive, I still think we've still got a lot of work to do," Moyes told Sky Sports.
