Movable properties of Yadgir PWD office attached after court order

In a swift turn of events, the Public Works Department (PWD) office in Yadgir faced legal consequences after court staff attached its movable properties here on Thursday.
The action follows an order passed by the Principal District and Sessions Court, Yadgir, in an Execution Petition (EP) filed by S.S. Police Patil and Company.
This comes shortly after the Yadgir City Municipal Council faced a similar legal action.
According to advocate Mallikarjun V. Karigouda, who pleaded in favour of the company, court staff executed the attachment order and seized movable properties, including computer, chairs, tables, and other equipment from the office of the Public Works Executive Engineer.
The dispute dates back to 2017-18 when S.S. Police Patil and Company undertook a road widening project stretching from Ambedkar Circle to Hattikuni Cross in Old Yadgir City.
