Motorola has expanded its Edge 70 lineup in India with the launch of the Edge 70 Max. The new smartphone features a large 6.8-inch display, a 7,100mAh battery, and the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset.
The 6.8-inch AMOLED display offers a Quad HD+ resolution, a refresh rate of 144Hz, a claimed peak brightness of 7,000 nits, and HDR10+ support. It also comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner.
It is available with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of UFS 4.1 storage. The phone ships with Android 16 with Motorola promising 3 OS upgrades along with 5 years of security updates.
For photography, the Edge 70 Max is equipped with a 50MP Sony LYTIA 710 primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 2-in-1 light sensor. On the front, it gets a 32MP selfie camera housed inside a centered hole-punch cutout.
