Morrissey has cancelled his Las Vegas residency a week before it was due to begin.
The former Smiths frontman released his 14th solo album ‘ Make-Up Is A Lie ’ in March via Sire Records, and was due to play a four-night residency at the Wynn Las Vegas kicking off next Friday (August 14).
However, the dates have now been removed from the Wynn’s official website, while Morrissey’s team has announced the shows have been cancelled due to “unforeseen logistical challenges,” per Consequence .
The singer has a reputation for axing and postponing gigs , and in March called off a show in Valencia “due to sleep deprivation” . The Spanish embassy in the UK later poked fun at Morrissey over the reasoning behind his last-minute cancellation .
