More than 500 protesters join Save Phuket rally against Chabad event

More than 500 protesters from the "Save Phuket" group, joined by Thai Buddhist and Muslim networks, rallied in Phuket. The demonstration was organized to show opposition to activities hosted by the local Jewish community and the Chabad House. The protest began at Patong Beach and involved a march to the Chabad House, with participants carrying signs such as "SAVE PHUKET NO ISRAEL". The Save Phuket group, also known as the Phuket Land Protection Group , gathered with allied networks of Thai Buddhists and Muslims at Dolphin Roundabout on Patong Beach in Kathu district, Phuket, at 4pm on Friday (September 11, 2026).
