More taluks to be added to drought list by Karnataka

Deputy Chief Minister G. Parameshwara on Friday said that eight to 10 taluks more could be added to the list of drought-affected taluks before a final memorandum is submitted to the Centre.
While the State has already declared 217 taluks out of 240 in the State as drought-hit, ground truthing exercise is being undertaken in the rest 23.
