More Amazon Prime customers to get up to $200 from October 1
The FTC has expanded eligibility for Amazon Prime customers to receive refunds of up to $200 due to misleading enrollment and cancellation practices. Eligible users who signed up or attempted to cancel between June 2019 and June 2025 will receive automatic payments starting October 1.

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has expanded the eligibility of Amazon Prime customers who will get refunds of up to $200. Following the landmark $2.5 billion settlement reached by the Trump-Vance FTC, Amazon started sending payments in November 2025 to eligible Prime customers affected by misleading enrollment and cancellation practices. By September 2026, Amazon issued over $845 million in refunds to eligible Prime customers. FTC has now revised the settlement with Amazon, making more Prime customers eligible for the refund.
