Trainer S.S. Attaollahi’s filly Moonveil, ridden by P. Trevor, won the Coromandel Gromor Deccan Fillies Championship the main attraction of Sunday’s (Aug. 30) races here. The winner is owned by M/s. Blazing Saddles (PF), M/s. Maloji Baburao Bhosale, Gaurav Gopalkrishan Sethi & Sulaiman S. Attaollahi.

Moonveil, who was settled in third position till the bend, was ridden out vigorously by Trevor in the straight. The filly responded well to the urgings and held off the late challenge from Madante and Vortex to claim the first classic of the Hyderabad Monsoon Races.
