The makers unveiled the teaser for Tamil superstar Nayanthara ’s much-awaited devotional thriller, Mookuthi Amman 2 - Maha Sakthi , on Monday, September 14, on the occasion of Vinayaka Chaturthi. The film, a sequel to director RJ Balaji’s 2020 film , is directed by acclaimed filmmaker Sundar C .
The film's teaser hints at a larger-than-life Amman story set in both the past and the present day. We see how the queen of a kingdom sacrifices herself to save her son, the prince, from invading enemies. Mookuthi Amman returns to save the child, but that’s not all. The teaser also hints at an all-new evil power: a mysterious woman (played by Regena Cassandrra ).
