The Meath athlete is part of a Team Ireland squad heading to Sofia for the European Elite Championships and she'll try her luck in the 54kg class.
"It’s been a busy year this year," the 2024 Olympian told RTÉ Sport. "We’ve been all over the globe with the Boxing World Cup, which is part of the World Boxing Series.
"Some great preparations for the European Championships, and all leading into next year which is when the qualification process will begin for LA28."
"It was a great experience to be travelling to these different tournaments and you’re competing against the best of the best," Lehane added of those World Cup events.
