Andhra Pradesh Governor S. Abdul Nazeer has summoned both Houses of the State Legislature for the Monsoon session on August 17, 2026.
The Legislative Assembly will commence its seventh session at 9 a.m., while the Legislative Council will begin its 50th session at 10 a.m. The Governor issued the summons under Clause (1) of Article 174 of the Constitution of India.
According to TDP legislators, the State government has decided to conduct the Monsoon Session for four working days—from Monday to Thursday. The session is expected to conclude on August 20, as Varalakshmi Vratam will be performed on August 21.
