Madhu Balaji Sivakumar, a molecular pathologist from Tiruchi, has been conferred the Young Scientist Award 2026 by the Indian Association of Pathologists and Microbiologists (IAPM) during the inaugural ceremony of TAPCON 2026 at the Pondicherry Institute of Medical Sciences, Puducherry.
The award recognises his contributions to molecular pathology, cancer research, and precision medicine. Dr. Sivakumar received the honour from Asranthi Kar, national president of IAPM.
