PETALING JAYA: National mixed doubles head coach Nova Widianto, who guided Chen Tang Jie-Toh Ee Wei to become Malaysia's first mixed doubles world champions last year, will end his tenure tomorrow.
The Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM) said Nova, who joined the coaching team in 2023, will return to Indonesia.
“Under his guidance, Malaysia celebrated a historic milestone when Tang Jie-Ee Wei became the nation's first-ever mixed doubles world champions in 2025,” said BAM in a Facebook post.
