mitmproxy adds --emudhra option
The mitmproxy project has introduced a new '--emudhra' option to allow the signing of TLS certificates using a compromised eMudhra intermediate CA key. Additionally, the project updated its 'certifi' dependency to remove eMudhra CAs from its precompiled binaries.
Why it matters
This update addresses security concerns related to compromised certificate authorities, providing tools for researchers to test and mitigate potential vulnerabilities.
