KIBAHA: THE Misugusugu Weights and Measures Verification Centre, operated by the Weights and Measures Agency (WMA) in Pwani Region, has increased its capacity to inspect fuel tankers from eight to 60 vehicles per day, making it easier for traders and transporters to access services promptly.
The centre’s Manager, Mrisho Mandari, said its primary responsibility is to verify tankers transporting petrol and diesel from Tanzania and neighbouring countries, including Zambia, Malawi, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Rwanda and Burundi.
