A Durban-based DJ who was reported missing has returned home safely after being stranded without his belongings. He explained that he had been robbed while out with acquaintances and stayed with a friend while attempting to recover his items.

Little did they know that Sanele Zwane (26), from New Germany near Pinetown, Durban, was staying at a friend’s flat after allegedly being stripped of his belongings.
Now that he’s back home safely, his family can breathe a sigh of relief, but he’s forced to start his life from scratch.
Durban’s aspiring Ipolo The DJ, who also worked as a call centre agent, returned home a few weeks after being reported missing on 2 September 2026.
His family told police they last saw him on his way to work.
Speaking to Daily Sun , the club DJ said that on the day he “went missing”, he went out after work with people he claimed he grew up with.
