Minten signs 7-year, $50.4 million contact with Bruins

Deal begins next season for 22-year-old forward; could have become RFA

Fraser Minten signed a seven-year, $50.4 million contract with the Boston Bruins on Tuesday. The deal begins next season and has an average annual value of $7.2 million.

The 22-year-old forward, who could have been a restricted free agent after this season, set NHL career highs in goals (17), assists (18) and points (35) in 82 games in 2025-26. His 35 points were the most by a Bruins rookie since Danton Heinen (47) and Jake DeBrusk (43) in 2017-18.
