Ministers review consecration arrangements
Government ministers and local officials in Madurai are coordinating logistics for the upcoming consecration ceremony at the Sri Meenakshi Sundareswarar Temple. The plan includes extensive traffic management, shuttle services, and high-tech security measures to accommodate over 10 lakh expected devotees.

A consultative meeting chaired by ministers was held here on Saturday on Sri Meenakshi Sundareswarar Temple premises to discuss and assess the arrangements for the upcoming consecration.
The meeting was jointly chaired by Minister for Energy Resources and Law R. Nirmalkumar and Minister for Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments S. Ramesh along with Collector Nishant Krishna, Corporation Commissioner Gaurav Kumar, and others.
Anticipating a little over 10 lakh devotees, VIPs, and pilgrims converging on the Temple City, the ministerial team issued directives to ensure a seamless experience.
Under the finalised blueprint, entry passes issued to devotees and dignitaries will feature printed route maps and explicit directional guidelines.
