Peshawar - Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Irrigation, Riaz Khan, on Tuesday paid a detailed visit to Budhni Nullah, Safia Homes and Hazara Khwani Branch Canal in Peshawar, where he inspected the ongoing dredging and desilting operations being carried out by the Irrigation Department.
Member of the National Assembly Asif Khan, former Deputy Speaker of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Mahmood Jan, the Chief Engineer, SDO, Executive Engineer (XEN), and other relevant officials accompanied the Minister during the visit.

On the occasion, the minister was given a comprehensive briefing on the physical and financial progress of the ongoing dredging activities at various locations.
The officials informed the minister about the current status of the projects, deployment of machinery, available resources, and the measures being taken to ensure completion of the works within the stipulated timeframe.
