Industries and Commerce Minister T.G. Bharath Gupta on Thursday said that the onus of keeping the city clean rests not only with sanitation staff but with every person, urging students and voluntary organisations in Kurnool to come forward and raise awareness among citizens about the importance of cleanliness.

Mr. Bharath, along with Kurnool Municipal Corporation (KMC) Commissioner Challa Obulesu and staff, took part in the 'Ek din - ek gantha - ek saath’ (One day - One hour - Together) initiative, aimed at creating awareness about cleanliness as part of Swacchtha hi Seva - 2026. Along with the municipality staff, the Minister swept the roads at Sankalbagh on the banks of the Tungabhadra River.
