Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar has said the State government is committed to developing the historic Sri Raja Rajeshwara Swamy temple in Vemulawada in a planned manner, with a futuristic vision and focus on enhancing the spiritual ambience and improving pilgrim amenities.
He was speaking after reviewing the progress of ongoing temple development and expansion works at a meeting with officials at the Integrated District Offices Complex in Sircilla on Monday evening.
Mr. Prabhakar said Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy was taking a keen interest in the development of the historic temple and that the government had allocated adequate funds for the purpose.
He directed officials to closely monitor the ongoing works and ensure their time-bound completion while adhering to quality standards.
He also instructed the officials to expedite the road widening and other development works in Vemulawada.
