The National Democratic Alliance’s (NDA) parliamentary party group on Tuesday (August 4, 2026) held its customary weekly meeting during the monsoon session of Parliament, with presentations on the performance of India’s sportspersons in the recently concluded Commonwealth Games and, against the backdrop of the recent Gen Z protests, on employment opportunities for the young.
The meeting, helmed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, was attended by several Union Ministers, including Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Home Minister Amit Shah, Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar, apart from Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MPs, and MPs from allied parties.
