Minister lays stone for renovation works at Mahammadiya Waqf Complex in Kurnool

Minister of Industries and Commerce T.G. Bharath on Monday (September 21, 2026) laid the foundation stone for renovation works to be undertaken at a cost of ₹14 lakh at the Mahammadiya Waqf Complex in Kurnool. The funds will be used for necessary repairs and renovations at the complex.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Bharath said Mahammadiya Waqf Complex had been neglected between 2019 and 2024. He said a committee was constituted for maintaining the complex after he assumed office and this created an opportunity to focus on its development.
