Ahead of the upcoming memorial day of Tyagi Immanuel Sekaran, Minister for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) P. Mathan Raja conducted an on-site inspection in Paramakudi on Thursday to review security measures and infrastructure preparations.
With large crowds expected to gather at the memorial site, the Minister examined crowd management strategies, entry and exit pathways, and barricade placements designed to prevent congestion.
He emphasised the need for streamlined pedestrian flow and strict adherence to safety protocols.
To mitigate anticipated traffic bottlenecks on key routes leading into the village, authorities have formulated comprehensive traffic diversion plans.
Vehicles belonging to VIPs and the general public will be systematically directed. Further, the Government Arts and Science College has been designated as a central parking hub, structured for one-way vehicle movement backed by dedicated police security.
The Minister also inspected the special police control room established at the Paramakudi police station.
