Roads and Buildings Minister B.C. Janardhan Reddy on Saturday inaugurated the Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas built at a cost of ₹1.67 crore each at Owk and Kolimigundla in Nandyal district.
Speaking after inaugurating the school buildings at the two places, Mr. Reddy said the government’s primary objective is to provide quality education to girls while ensuring the availability of necessary infrastructure.
Education Minister Nara Lokesh is taking systematic measures to further fortify the State’s education system and lay a strong foundation for a better future for girls by encouraging their education, Mr. Reddy said, adding that the aim is to provide equal opportunities, quality education, and improved infrastructure to every female student.
The Minister affirmed that the government would provide a better educational environment for students by developing necessary infrastructure in government educational institutions in a phased manner.
