Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Minister P. Mathan Raja on Sunday flagged off new bus services from Vilathikulam bus stand.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Raja said buses were operated thrice a day from Vilathikulam bus stand to Government Arts and Science College at Nagalapuram. New services had been started for two additional routes. Route number 71 A would leave from Thavasilingapuram at 9:25 a.m. to Vilathikulam bus stand, passing through Nagalapuram College. Similarly, route number 74 A would leave from Vilathikulam at 3:50 p.m. and reach Kandasamypuram through Nagalapuram College.
