Assistive devices were distributed to persons with disabilities under the aegis of the Helping Hands Society in Kurnool on Saturday.

Industries and Commerce Minister T.G. Bharath Gupta participated in the event organised by Helping Hands Society president Ranjith and handed over assistive devices to 20 individuals with disabilities. Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Bharath lauded the Helping Hands Society for conducting annual service activities to support those in need.

He praised Mr. Ranjith’s efforts to boost the self-confidence of persons with disabilities by providing them with necessary assistive devices. The Minister expressed hope that the Helping Hands Society would undertake more service initiatives in the future. Stating that Mr. Ranjith has plans to establish a small-scale industry, the Minister assured him of necessary support and cooperation from the government and on a personal level.
