This highlights the ongoing political polarization and the battle for public perception between the ruling coalition and the opposition in Andhra Pradesh.
Roads and Buildings (R&B) Minister B.C Janardhan Reddy lashed out at the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) leaders for trying to mislead the public with their false propaganda against the government.
“The people of Andhra Pradesh gave a resounding mandate of 164 seats to the NDA and we are fulfilling all our promises and propelling the State towards a path of rapid development. The YSRCP leaders, on the other hand, are trying to spread misinformation,” he alleged.
Speaking to media at Sanjamala in his Banganapalle constituency, Mr. Janardhan Reddy said that the YSRCP, which plummeted from 151 seats to just 11, lacks the moral standing to question the alliance government. “Our goal is to respect the people’s verdict and honour the commitments made to them. The government has already implemented over 90% of its development and welfare promises,” he added.
