Minister announces special package for tribespeople in Kerala’s Nilambur

Nilambur will receive a special development package for the welfare of its tribal communities, Minister for Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Backward Classes Welfare K.A. Thulasi said while inaugurating a tribal documentation adalat at Nilambur on Sunday (August 2, 2026).
The Adalat, organised under the Vikas Vision 2040 initiative led by Aryadan Shoukath, MLA, issued 11 essential documents to tribal residents from 168 settlements.
The documents included birth certificates, Aadhaar, PAN, ration and voter ID cards, caste and income certificates, employment registration, health insurance cards, labour cards and bank accounts.
