Minister Ajay Dharam Singh convened a high-level meeting with top district officials on Friday (August 7) to assess the worsening drought situation and acute drinking water shortages across Raichur district.
The meeting, held at the University of Agricultural Sciences (UAS) guest house in Raichur, was attended by key district-level administrative officers, including Deputy Commissioner Poovitha S.
Dr. Singh, who arrived in Raichur from Bengaluru early on Friday morning, instructed officials to take immediate measures to mitigate drinking water scarcity and provide relief to affected populations.
