Minimum wage shame list reveals Scottish firms that failed to pay staff
The UK government has published a list of 50 Scottish firms that failed to pay their employees the minimum wage. Companies ranging from nurseries to bakeries were ordered to repay a total of £4 million to thousands of affected workers.

Three of the companies topping the list in Scotland - including North East bakers Murdoch Allan & Son - each owed more than £20,000 to underpaid workers.
The Department for Business said 658 employers across the UK have been ordered to repay £4m after more than 27,000 workers have been left out of pocket.
Nearly 700 workers were affected in Scotland.
The largest amount underpaid in Scotland was by family-owned nursery chain Collin Care Ltd in Glasgow, which owed £28,149 to 77 workers.
Next came bakers Murdoch Allan & Son in Peterhead, which failed to pay £24,150 to seven employees.
