Milan seal Hutchinson loan after losing Leao

AC Milan has signed Omari Hutchinson on a loan-to-buy deal following the departure of Rafael Leao to Galatasaray. The club is also offloading Santiago Gimenez to Porto as part of a broader squad restructuring.
Why it matters
High-profile player transfers significantly impact team performance and financial health in European professional football.
Milan have signed Omari Hutchinson from Nottingham Forest in a loan-to-buy deal.
Hutchinson, who only joined Forest from Ipswich Town for £37.5m last year, will head to San Siro on an initial 12-month deal, which the Rossoneri can make permanent next summer.
The winger – a graduate of Chelsea's academy – struggled for regular gametime at the City Ground, only starting 17 Premier League games in 2025-26 and scoring one goal.
