Milan’s Alpha Cisse to miss out Italy call-up despite big impact

Serie A side Milan have seen young Alpha Cisse impress this season but his possible call-up to the Italian national team may have to wait.

Both of the 19-year-old's goals for the Rossoneri have come in Turin. He scored against Torino in the opening goal of the campaign. Against Juventus , he found the net from a very similar position after coming off the bench.

This led to suggestions he could soon be called up to the Italian national team, having previously played twice for the U21s.

But this may not happen for the upcoming UEFA Nations League fixtures.
