Mikel Arteta has agreed a new deal to extend his stay at Arsenal. <p>The 44-year-old's existing contract with the Premier League champions, signed in September 2024, was due to expire next summer.</p><p>But the Spaniard, who was appointed in 2019, has committed his future to the club and confirmation of his new agreement is expected during this international break.</p><p>When asked about his contract situation ahead of Arsenal's trip to Brighton on Saturday, Arteta said: "I think we are all very much aligned; whenever the time is right, we'll get that done. There is nothing to be concerned about.</p><p>"I think we both have the same ambition and the same will.
