A 28-year-old migrant worker from Madhya Pradesh was killed in a wild elephant attack near Santhanpara, under the Devikulam Forest Range in Idukki, on Thursday night. According to preliminary reports, the deceased has been identified as Kumar. The incident occurred around 9:30 p.m. on the road between Ayyanpara and Kampani estate near Pethotty. Another worker who was with him managed to escape unhurt.
