Migrant children in Ernakulam get training in Madhubani painting

Thirty-one students enrolled in five schools under the Ernakulam district administration’s ‘Roshni’ project for the educational uplift of migrant children are undergoing a 10-day training programme here in the Madhubani tradition of painting.
The sessions are being led by Madhubani artists, including Chandrakant Kumar Bari and Lalita Dutta from Bihar, at the Government Vocational Higher Secondary School at Kunnumpuram near Edappally. The programme aims to impart vocational skills to the students along with their studies, according to a communication.
